We had a great Easter weekend that began with Hudson's Easter party at school. On Thursday, I helped out with the party. I had the kids decorate lamb cookies and they did a great job. Getting and keeping the attention of 4 year olds is challenging, but fun. :) On Friday at noon, Ben and I went to the Good Friday service at our church and that night we watched Passion of the Christ. Ben bought the DVD at WalMart for $7.50. Something is wrong in the world when the Passion is $7.50, but Peter Pan is $20! Anyways, Saturday we went to an Easter Egg Hunt at some friend's house and that evening we went to a Seder meal at another church. The Seder meal is what Jews partake in during Passover. After the Seder, Robyn drove in from College Station and stayed the night with us. I got up extra early to make Resurrection bread and get ready so that we would have enough time for pictures. The Resurrection bread was super yummy, but somehow in getting 2 kids ready, getting 1 sister out of bed, as well as, 1 husband we didn't have time for pictures. :) At least we made it on time for church. We went to church and then out to Macaroni Grill for lunch. We came home and everyone took a nap. Then I put the boys clothes back on and attempted to take pics. Later that afternoon, we had our fellowship group complete with a big Easter dinner. We had a great weekend, but it was very busy. To see more pics go to http://picasaweb.google.com/brothermclain
Resurrection Bread
1 can of crescent rolls
8 marshmallows
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 Tbsp cinnamon
1/4 c. melted butter
Dip marshmallow in melted butter and then in the sugar/cinnamon mixture. Take 1 crescent triangle and wrap it around the marshmallow. Place them on a greased baking sheet that has sides, because the marshmallow will ooze out everywhere. Bake at 375 for 11-13 min.

I hear you on the no Easter pictures thing! Mommas work so hard to get everything planned out for Easter and then we can't even get a good Easter picture! :) I think I'll dress us all up again on a nice warm day and just take a "spring" family picture.
cute pics! That bread recipe looks yummy! Do I have to wait until Easter to try it out? ha!
Ruth Lee-
Love the pictures of the boys! They are so handsome! Take care and we'll be in touch!
Love, Karen
