Colson's 1st haircut

Brain Tumor Race 2011 - Frisco, TX

Here's our clan minus Robyn who was in the Dominican Republic and Ben who was taking the pic

Robyn's college roommates, Kelli and Nicole.  Nicole organized our team: Ron Baker's Legacy

This past May our family ran/walk a 5K for Brain Tumor research.  Nicole, one of Robyn's college roommates, was so sweet to organize our team.  We had so much fun!  Ben, Hudson and my brother Rick, actually ran most of the race.  Katie, my sister in law, me and mom and the grandsons more or less just walked it. :)  There were LOTS of participants and we are planning on doing it again this year.

Mother's Day 2011

Jessi Belle - my furry, four legged daughter :)

Landon is SO excited!

Colson is trying to figure out who this is

The babies of the family
We finally broke down and got a dog.  Ben has wanted a dog for years and the boys jumped on the bandwagon, too.  I wasn't opposed to having a dog, but I knew that it would be like having one more kid.  I told Ben I would consider getting a dog this past summer, but plans changed. :)

We were at Bass Pro in March getting ready for the boys' camping trip.  We walked in and it just happened to be Pet Adoption Day.  So many sweet dogs were outside the store's entrance.  We of course had to stop and look.  We fell in love with a litter of puppies called Black Mouth Cur.  We were not familiar with that breed and we had researched A Lot of dogs.  I must say I was taken with how cute they were.  We went home and did some research and found out that they are bred to herd cattle or in my case 3 wild boys. :)  They are supposed to be loyal and great with kids and a medium sized breed.  After talking about it for a few weeks, we decided to adopt her.  Ben and I came up with a couple of really sweet girl names, but the boys wanted to name her Jessi after the cowgirl in ToyStory.  Her foster family had given her the name Bella, but since we have a niece named Bella, we decided to make her middle name Belle.  A good Southern double name, Jessi Belle.

Structure Company meeting in Deer Valley, Utah

inside the St. Regis
Ben's company has 2 meetings a year and the one this past April was in Deer Valley, UT.  We stayed at this amazing place called the St.Regis.  The hotel was gorgeous and everyday at 3:00pm they would have hot chocolate and fresh whip cream that was to die for. :)  It was a fun getaway for Ben and I.

We went snowmobiling which I had never done, but Ben had.  I was timid at first, but after I got the hang of it speed was my middle name!  It was fun to feel a little out of control.

Boys's 1st camping trip

Ben took the two big boys on their 1st tent camping trip.  One of our good friend's, Rob Harrison, went too and brought his son Will.  Will and Landon are best buds.  They went to Huntsville State Park and had a blast, well at least, the boys did. :)  Camping with 3 boys under the age of 6 is not exactly relaxing, but the guys enjoyed making memories.

Royal Wedding

So I didn't really keep up with the Royal Wedding hype until just days before.  I got the royal fever and decided to make chocolate chip scones and wake up at the crack of dawn to witness history.  It was actually really fun and quite peaceful.  I drank hot tea out of my Bramley Hedge teacup, ate my scone, and took in the magin of the morning.
