Aren't they CUTE!!

I can't believe how fast they are growing up! Landon will be 5 months next week and Hudson will be 3 the end of March. They have so much fun together and I can't imagine how fun it is going to be once Landon is mobile! :) Hudson got this "jumping thing" for waking up dry for 4 mornings. Well we used some of his Christmas money for it, but he doesn't know. :) It is a great invest. They have them at Target for $35 and it burns lots of energy for those of you that have active kids. :) It is in the outside/summer toys section of Target.
As you can tell in the picture, sweet Landon is practically half the size of Hudson. At his 4 month check up he was 16lbs 4oz and 27 1/4in. :)

Hudson was supposed to be napping in his bed, but he seemed to think under his bed would be a better idea. :)

Valentine's Day

We had our annual Valentine's breakfast complete with heart shaped eggs, hasbrowns, berries and juice. :)

Valentine's night Ben surprised me with tickets to the Steven Curtis Chapman concert. He is one of my favorites and I have never seen him live before. It was a great night!

Stealing Cinderella

I was driving the other day and this song came on and tears began to run down my face. I remember very clearly the day Ben asked my Dad if he could marry me. They went to City Bagel a coffee shop in Siloam Springs (where I went to college) and I guessed what they were up to. :) My sweet Daddy had pages of questions to ask Ben which I know was unnerving, but to me it showed how much my Dad cared for me and wanted to make sure that I was marrying a godly man with character. A few months ago, mom was going through some of Daddy's stuff and she found the pages of questions. Maybe one day Ben will use some of them for our little girl (if we are blessed to have a daughter). :)
I came to see her daddy for sit down man to man
It wasn't any secret I'd be asking for her hand
I guess that's why he left me waiting in the living room by myself
With at least a dozen pictures of her sitting on a shelf
She was playing Cinderella
She was riding her first bike
Bouncing on the bed and looking for a pillow fight
Running through the sprinkler with a big popsicle grin
Dancing with her dad, looking up at him
In her eyes I'm Prince Charming
But to him I'm just some fella
Riding in and stealing Cinderella
I leaned in towards those pictures
To get a better look at one
When I heard a voice behind me say"Now, ain't she something, son?"
I said "Yes, she quite a woman"
And he just stared at me
Then I realized that in his eyes she would always be
Chorus
He slapped me on the shoulder
Then he called her in the room
When she threw her arms around him
That's when I could see it too
Playing Cinderella
Riding her first bike
Bouncing on the bed and looking for a pillow fight
Running through the sprinkler with a big popsicle grin
Dancing with her dad, looking up at him
If he gives me a hard timeI can't blame the fella
I'm the one who's stealing Cinderella

Boys will be boys

Hudson went potty and came out with his underwear on his head! I had to take a picture. :)

Family Fun

This past Saturday we had a great day as a family. We got up and I made biscuits and Ben made scrambled eggs with bacon in them. Ben is a great egg maker! Then we took Hudson to the Guitar Center and he had a blast!

Next, we went to Memorial Park which is a huge park in Houston. There are tons of walking trails, a golf course and parks for kids. Landon tried out the swings for the first time and loved it!

Hudson's Valentine's Party

Hudson had his Valentine's Party at school this past Friday. He was so excited about taking his Cars valentines to his friends. :)
Hudson's teacher asked me to bring cookies and so Hudson and I made my mother-in-laws famous sugar cookies and decorated them.
Ben and Hudson went through every Valentine when Ben got home from work.
