Everyone came to my house this year which was so fun!  It was neat to see the boys play with your cousin Jackson who was 15 months at the time.  We went to the Christmas Train in Alvin, read stories, played games and hung out.

Hudson's Christmas Musical

Hudson has been in small programs where he has sung maybe 2 or 3 songs, but this year he was in an actual musical that was an hour long.  Unfortunately, Ben had a business trip and his plane was delayed so he didn't make it back in time.  Thankfully my mom came up and was a BIG help!  Colson was all over me and Landon wouldn't sit still so without my mom it would've been a nightmare.

Before we left the house, I caught Hudson putting toilet paper in the pocket on his shirt.  He said he was trying to find a handkerchief, like gentleman wear, but couldn't find any.  So he got the bright idea to use toilet paper. :)

We got a great spot right in front of Hudson.  The first song started and I began to record when all of a sudden the tears began to flow.  I didn't expect this at all.  All of a sudden I realized that my first born was growing up and I couldn't control my emotions.  Of course not only was I crying, but my mom was too, and Landon was just looking at us like we were crazy. :)  Here is just a short recording of that night:

Christmas Card Pictures

While we had Jordan with us, we had him take pics for our Christmas card.  I really wanted our new dog to be apart of the picture which made it extra challenging.  How come everyone else can get their dog to sit and pose for the perfect, All-American family photo?  It is hard enough to get all 3 boys to smile let alone get a puppy to be still.  Here are some of our attempts at a family pic:

this is the one we chose :)

Ben's brother, Jordan, came for several days and we had so much fun.  He hardly had a moments peace, since the boys were constantly wanting to play with him.  He was such a trooper!!

Landon and I on the ferris wheel

This Thanksgiving was a little different for our family, because it was just the  5 of us.  I made a small turkey breast with broccoli cheese and rice and hashbrown casserole and pumpkin pie.  We had a good day of hanging out together and going to the park.

The next day we headed to the Houston Aquarium and had a blast!  The boys loved looking at everything, especially the white tiger.  We also went on the shark train which is where a train goes into a tank of sharks.  Landon and I went on the ferris wheel and had such fun together.  He wasn't scared at all of how high we went.
